all about van : debut for the Twins Peugeot / Citroen 2008

Peugeot and Citroen have announced that they will launch new vans this year, both based on the same platform.
The Peugeot Partner and Citroen Berlingo update both successful business offers van, and should appear in the form of MPV for passengers.
Both trucks promise flexibility, value for money and a new best in class payload of small panel vans.
They have a load volume of 3.300 liters and a maximum payload of 850kg.
The length of the cargo space is extended from 1.8 to 3 meters thanks to a modular cabin layout (called Multiflex by Peugeot and extended by Citroen), which allows three people to sit in front - an industry first.
Peugeot has said the partner should be equipped with diesel HDi engines of the 308.
Citroën has released details of the engine, but said ESP and hill start assist will be available.
Both trucks will have MPV siblings.
The Peugeot Partner Tepee includes three individual folding rear seats and a "multi-purpose roof" designed to let more light in the cabin.
Citroen's Berlingo has a multi independently opening tailgate window and a promising storage media. Both brands will launch vehicles in the second half of this year.
