all about Van : Nissan Range Van Interstar

Van Interstar is Nissan's Fresh updates with which to tempt buyers away from the established candidates Van Panel.
In commercial terms of the vehicle, Nissan remained on the periphery of things until recently. 4x4 trucks and pick-up was popular, as the Cabstar E flat bed truck, but success in the more lucrative markets mainstream van eluded them. The Interstar was the first in a series of vehicles with a mandate to change all that and it has recently been thoroughly upgraded to provide new impetus is needed in a competitive market.
The Pang's strange deja vu is likely to be felt by Vauxhall and Renault van drivers when the clap eyes on Interstar can be explained by one simple fact. Beneath all the badging, branding and cosmetic details, Movano Vauxhall, Master of Renault, Van Interstar Nissan's are one and the same. Granted, if you must check the lists of specifications in detail, you will find some differences in equipment levels in the Range area, but the variations are few. All three models have been on the receiving end of reasonably extensive facelift, so the latest versions look and feel significantly different even stayed the same - if that makes sense.
The engine line up on Interstar has been simplified to a 2.5-liter dCi powertrain available with three outputs, 100, 120 and 150hp, offering improved performance and refinement. Services remained unchanged intervals (20,000 or 30,000 miles, depending on engine or 2 years). Euro 4 compliance for the new engines means that emission levels had decreased significantly (50% for NOx), maintaining the same level of refinement, consumption and performance. In addition, buyers can specify a filter diesel (DPF) - which eliminates 99.9% of diesel emissions - or to take as stand on the 2.5-liter dCi 150hp engine. To cope with the increased torque of the new diesel engine line up, this van comes with a hi-tech 6-speed manual gearbox Series manual and robotic transmissions offering improved reliability and performance.
"Drag Interstar to side and a short bleep sounds to represent the RPS system spring into action."
Nissan has been listening to the owners of current models Interstar. Following their feedback, information goods are now offering the option of intelligent wipers and auto lighting to improve the convenience, comfort and safety in hard conditions. This development was made possible thanks to a new Electronic Control Unit operating through multiplex wiring technology. There is also a clever (but sadly optional) 3-button key selective opening system, and stronger, higher mounted hooks in the cargo area. Fleet customers can also specify a unique third factory key option, particularly important for a vehicle used by more than two carriers.
Regarding safety, Interstar has left behind its rivals: ESP linked ABS is now available. This feature will dramatically improve active safety in extreme driving conditions. Automatic locking doors, the speed limiter and factory fitted foglights are other features to bring the car as security in this model. Inside, the improvements in production have contributed to higher levels of fit and finish and durability for both vehicles. The Interstar is now equipped with a greater variety of useful storage spaces around the cabin including a new double roof storage and an extra disc in the center console.
In a sign of how little there is to choose between the top contenders in the large panel van, look no further than early promotional literature and advertising for the Nissan Interstar. In their wisdom, marketing guru of the company stood behind the Nissan Park System, which is included as standard on most models as the main selling point of the car. Usually, there is little matters like engines and payload capacities that dominate commercial vehicle purchase decisions, this is why it is more actively promoted, but there is not much to separate the top models on these criteria. The Japanese apparently believe that the RPS parking sensor was the best angle of attack to differentiate from Interstar quite similar opponents. It works very well. Drag Interstar to side and a short bleep sounds to represent the RPS system spring into action. As you go back to more frequent bleeps to warn you and the proximity of your rear fender-bending may increase items.
Interstar's body can be determined by various combinations of three wheelbases and three roof heights. If you plan on checking size of cargo bay with a very large, tall or wide objects, the biggest Interstar is the long wheelbase / high roof. It gives 13.9 cubic meters of load volume with access through high rear doors or a sliding side door. At 5888 mm in length and glazed rear doors as standard, you might be glad of that behind Parking Sensor. The floor is usefully low even easier access.
Interstar operators get disc brakes and all-round independent double-wishbone front. Rear travel is the responsibility of a rigid Axel with a single steel leaf springs, designed to handle heavy loads do not affect the implementation of treatment. The truck has a tight turning circle and is controlled via a steering wheel firmly mounted. The driving position is typical of many panel trucks with designers refuse to go too far down the road in search of a car-like feel. You sit high with a good view of the road and standing in order to make the hop in and out easy. The driver's seat are three ways, using Interstar on longer trips is an unpleasant experience.
The Nissan Interstar has all the pieces in all the right places to be a success. The integrated nature of the final package can be mainly due to its close relationship with those of Renault and Vauxhall models, but when it comes to supplying the public, Nissan retailers will be on their own. The manufacturer now has the largest and most diverse commercial vehicle Range in the United Kingdom and the Interstar is the best of the bunch. Looks like another example of creative thinking from Nissan.
